PermitPulseDaily (permitpulsedaily.com) is operated by PermitPulseDaily. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
The permit data
The permits on PermitPulseDaily come from public building permit records published by cities, counties and states. Names, business names and business phone numbers of contractors, applicants and property owners that appear come from those same public records. We don't add home addresses, personal phone numbers or personal email addresses from other sources.
Removing your information from permit listings
If your name or contact details appear in a permit listing and you'd like them removed or hidden, email [email protected] with the page link. We'll remove or hide the details within 30 days and keep them from being re-added. The original record may still be available from the government agency that published it.
What we collect from you
When you sign up we collect your email address, company name, and the city and trade you choose. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles it under its own privacy policy. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
We use your information to run your account, process payments, send sign-in links, permit emails and account notices, prevent fraud and trial abuse, and answer support requests. We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run PermitPulseDaily: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security) and our email delivery provider (sign-in and account emails). They may use it only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one cookie, only to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open and for up to 12 months after it closes, then delete it. We keep billing and tax records as long as the law requires (usually up to 7 years).
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising (we do neither). To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll confirm your request and respond within 45 days, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights. You can also update your email or cancel anytime from Manage billing in your account.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, signed sign-in links that expire, and limit access to your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll let you know promptly if a breach affects your information.
Children
PermitPulseDaily is a business service and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be emailed to members.
